Welcome to the Atrium Community
The solution demos are based on a small organisation called Atrium. The people in Atrium and their respective roles are described below. To access the demos you log on to a solution as one of these people and you are presented with the functions they have access to according to their roles.
It is recommended that you start by looking at People Manager, the HR solution. This solution has the most options of the set and will take you the longest to explore. However, it will also introduce you to all the features of the solutions. You should log on to it as John Smith to see all of its features and allow around 30 minutes to explore it fully. The other solutions will then only require about 10 minutes each to explore their functionality.

The community page which you are initially presented with provides the full functionality of Community Workspace including Chat plus Email. You will be asked to log on and you may use any of the login names listed below. Logging in as John Smith or Elizabeth Davis first will give you a good sense of the functionality available to a manager.
You then access the solutions by clicking on the Applications tab. Click on the solution name to start the demo.
To change role, close all browser windows that you have open on your desktop, start a new browser window and start the demo again, logging in as the new person. You may find it useful to bookmark this page to get back here quickly.

Different people have different access to functionality as defined by the groups that have been set up in the Community Manager Workspace solution to reflect the roles performed by the people in Atrium.
Only Elizabeth Davis and Sheila Spence have access to the Financial Administration Functions in Organisation Manager and Purchase Manager.
Only Elizabeth Davis and John Smith have access to Manager Functionality in all solutions.
Only Sheila Spence has access to Resource and Travel Administration Functions in Organisation Manager.
Only John Smith has access to HR Administration functions in People Manager.
Only Elizabeth Davis can add new assets into Asset Manager and administer it.
Only Sheila Spence can administer Filing Manager.
Note that, as a demo site, the data created is visible to all users of the demo. Your data will be retained if appropriate although there is a regular review and clean up of data. However, other people may add data using the same login name as you have chosen so the data you see may change. It is also possible in the demo for several people to log on with the same name during the same time period.
